On August 30th, our Harvard Street center hosted an end-of-the-year Family Music Event. Families participated in singing and moving to songs alongside their children.
Throughout August, all of our Center-Based Programs invited families to attend their Moving-On ceremonies for children entering Kindergarten this fall.
On July 13th, Common Start Coalition invited kids and families all across Massachusetts to join a family-friendly rally at the State House in support of affordable, accessible, and high-quality early education and child care for all
On Sunday, June 25th, Nurtury Staff attended the 2nd Annual UPK Moving Up Celebration at the Franklin Park. The event celebrates the children as graduates of UPK and families enjoy music and dancing as well as lunch followed by a raffle and free exploration of the Zoo.
Every Thursday night throughout the summer, the Mildred C. Hailey Tenant Task Force organizes community cookout events.
On June 6th, Horadan Way invited families to watch their children sing and play instruments for their summer music performance. We had a great turnout from many enthusiastic parents!
On May 22, 2023, Nurtury Early Education was announced as one of the local nonprofits to receive a $750,000 grant over 10 years through Cummings Foundation’s major annual grants program.
Nurtury Early Education is excited to announce that we are creating a pilot program with the intent of building capacity by supporting early childhood entrepreneurs in getting their small businesses started with access to shared space.
On Friday, April 28th, we invited families of Harvard Street to join us for a Family Garden Get-Together. We had every classroom represented, infants through preschool. Families stayed and talked together.
This past month, many classrooms engaged in a hands-on investigation of light using artificial and natural light sources.
