Nurtury Early Education hosted our 2nd Annual Summer Fun Fest in Jamaica Plain this June. Children and families were able to enjoy ice cream, face painting, art stations, community resources, and more.
The Garden Room at Nurtury Learning Lab now has a beautiful, handcrafted mosaic sign thanks to the help and hands of many children, staff, and volunteers at Nurtury Early Education.
Nurtury Early Education was proud to have over 25 staff members attend the State House for this year’s Early Education and Care Advocacy Day. This event is an incredible opportunity to visit legislators and advocate for policies that support educators and the children and families we serve.
We were excited to welcome volunteer readers from the City of Boston to Nurtury Early Education as part Boston Reads Day, a citywide initiative to promote early literacy, and Jumpstart’s Read for the Record event.

Three of Nurtury’s Family Child Care programs had a unique opportunity to visit Revere City Hall for a Civic Education Day! Early learners asked councillors questions and presented their ideas on what they’d like to see in the city.
Over 20 members of Nurtury Early Education joined our peers at the Massachusetts State House for Early Education and Care Advocacy Day on Tuesday, March 4th. Nurtury staff met with state legislators to advocate for public funding supporting high-quality early education
Nurtury’s Family Child Care (FCC) Winter Coat Drive last month was a huge success! Thank you to Matt Parlante at the Revere Fire Department for his generous donation of children’s coats.
Led by FCC Educator Suany Ramos Rodas, Our Little Steps Child Care adopts pedagogy that considers both the cognitive, emotional and social needs of children in their first stage of life.
