Nurtury Learning Lab Hosts Process Art Event for Families
August 6, 2025
Nurtury Learning Lab recently hosted a Process Art Playground Party for our preschoolers and their families.
Process art aims to focus on the experience of creating, rather than the end product. For this event, we had four different activity stations: Spray Bottle Painting, Potion Making, Fence Sewing, and Sidewalk Paint Making! This set-up allowed children to explore at their own pace and learn through play.
We had so much fun watching our preschoolers experiment with different materials. Children were quickly literally jumping for joy!
These types of open-ended art activities are also a great way to utilize and repurpose materials you may already have in or around your home — fabric scraps, spray bottles, bed sheets, flowers, water, etc. — to think outside of the box and create something new!
Thank you to our incredible arts educator, Stacy Davidson Minicucci, for always bringing such innovative ideas to our arts program.
