Three of Nurtury’s Family Child Care (FCC) programs had a unique opportunity to visit Revere City Hall for a Civic Education Day!

Early learners were able to ask councillors questions, give their opinions, and present their ideas on what they’d like to see in the city. Bike lanes, pools, and farms with lots of animals were just some of the recommendations.

Family Child Care programs and Nurtury FCC support staff had the opportunity to meet Mayor Keefe, City Councillor At-Large Jaramillo, Ward 5 City Councillor Guarino Sawaya, Ward 3 City Councillor Cogliandro, the Revere Police and Fire Departments, and many others.

We are grateful for everyone who welcomed our early learners. It was an incredible opportunity to participate in civic engagement and teach children that their voice matters.
