Thank you to Luisa Muñoz from United Way Massachusetts Bay for visiting one of our Family Child Care (FCC) programs last week as part of United Way’s Changemakers Series.

Luisa visited the home of Fatima Santana, one of our FCC small business owners. Fatima runs New Horizons Family Child Care in Dorchester and has been in early education for over 13 years. She is one of the 150 home-based FCC providers that Nurtury supports through our network.

In addition to meeting with Fatima, Luisa also interviewed members of Nurtury’s FCC team, including Quality Specialist Nancy Sanchez and Enrollment Coordinator Leslie Mateo. The visit was also joined by Nurtury’s VP of Business Development, Mayra Rosado, and FCC Boston Regional Director, Cynthia Del Orbe.
