Thank you to our volunteers from Liberty Mutual who helped clean up the garden beds at our Harvard Street Center in Cambridge on Friday.

These volunteers helped us plant a mix of flowers, herbs, and vegetables – including tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, peas, and more – at one of our early learning centers as part of their Serve with Liberty program.

We were able to have a few classrooms join in on the planting fun! The children loved getting their hands dirty by digging holes to plant the vegetables and then covering the roots with soil.

Thank you again to all the Serve with Liberty volunteers who joined us last week, including our very own Nurtury Early Education board member Ann Stanberry.

We are excited to have the space ready for children at our Harvard Street Center to continue gardening and discover how these plants grow over time.
